just felt like posting a picture :) soooo cute

So its been a busy week since Adam came home for the first time...

I have to admit that the lack of sleep and the frustrations of getting him to settle after a feed have been much tougher than I thought they would be.... but we are starting to get used to it and working as a team to make things as easy as possible. The diaper changing thing has been far easier than I thought (this is one thing that really had scared me) although I don't think i'll ever get used to being peed on.

We have not had many visitors yet by choice because we are trying to get ourselves used to life with the baby before we can cope with visitors (especially as Carey was ill for a few days too). April, and Careys mom have been a great help though.

We have taken Adam out a few times now.... firstly to the supermarket, then yesterday to Sears to get his photos taken and then again this morning for Adams first trip to our weekly breakfast club!

Adam Frederick Hough was born at 10.47pm on OCt 20th 2008 weighing 10lbs and 9.1oz.

Baby Party at work!

On Thursday I got thrown a surprise baby party by everyone at work. It was totally unexpected and I really appreciate everyone's best wishes and their wonderful generosity. Thanks to Chris & Olivia too for organizing it! We had pizza and homemade cup-cakes (thanks Chris!!). Here are a few pictures from the day....

A day in New York City.... TV stars!!

So... we went to New York on tuesday and we both managed to get on TV on different shows.... I managed to get on the Today show and Carey was on the Marth Stewart Show..... how cool is that!

A day at the big E

I went to the Big E fair in West Springfield with Carey and her Mom last saturday.... a fun day all round with lots of good food and plenty of walking!

I always enjoy going round the State buildings and seeing the animals. A beautifal sunny day too.

So.... nothing really exciting to report

since starting the blog I really have not been anywhere sports wise.... I did go to a gig at the Iron Horse in Northampton though. It was the Big Bad Bollocks "half way to St Paddys Day" show. Played a first set of really old (rarely played) songs and a second set of the more popular ones. We left half way through the second set as it was getting pretty late.

What this blog will be....

This is where I will try to keep a record of when I go to gigs or sporting events or anywhere else interesting.... I may even throw in a few things from the archives....
